 At least 38 people were killed and more than 60 injured in two suicide bomb attacks on the Moscow Metro during the morning rush hour, officials say.


These past few days have been very happening for me.
29th March 2010,Monday,7:56am Lubyanka station which is beneath the Federal Security Service and is 0.5 km away from the Kremlin was blasted.I was probably on the bed studying for MCQ test back in Yugo-Zapadnaya.

8:40am, Park Kultury station,which is a main transit station was blasted by another female suicide bomber.I was stuck in Yugo-Zapadnaya station and having the mindset to just skip class and lectures.Usually at 8:40am if I wasn't late,I'll be transiting at Park Kultury to Barrikadnaya!!
I'm so lucky.

5 days have past,yet the fear remains in most of the people staying in Moscow including me myself.Let's just pray for peace and comfort for everybody especially the victims and family.

For the past few days,people from all over Moscow including the president Medvedev laid flowers and candles in both stations amid the security guards,wary eyes are what all passengers are getting.This tragedy was really something.


30th March 2010,Tuesday,I woke up at 2 to pack.Guess what,I'm moving to Azovskaya street,15,metro station Kahovskaya.Managed to get the place and moved most of my stuffs which is A LOT.Am thankful and content,new place,new people,new environment,new life,new start!!

1st of April,didn't even heard a proper April fool joke or something,bad.

2nd April 2010,Friday,woke up at 12pm!!Oh gosh,dislike,bad.
Green beans burnt,bad.
Time to go swim,not bad.Sometimes I just do not know how to say,Russians are unfriendly,but sometimes they are not,in fact,most of the time,the pretty good.In the metro I met these 3 gurls having fun with Elmo and Cookie Monster hand puppets,they look exactly like this.

 

Haha,I threw a smile after seeing them trying to be good puppeteers.They noticed and started teasing me.Every time I turned away,they did something behind with the 2 monsters.At a time,they even got down and enter the other wagon,I though okay,finally they are gone.At metro station Tulskaya,they came back and walked towards me and started singing and performing,they got down with me at the next stop and we said goodbye.
Well,my perspective changed,Russians aren't so bad after all =)

The 3 S's,starting tomorrow,I'll have to learn to settle down and study,thankful for the holidays,update about the holidays trip will be posted soon hopefully,looking forward to finish the 3S's in a good way =) ciao.

Second day of 2010

Finally to have the time to write...
Been so busy for the past few days,getting the zachuts and organizing Vision10,
but I know that everything is worthwhile after all.
I learnt a lot a lot of things,from neurovascular complex in pterygopalatine fossa




which consist of maxillary artery,maxillary nerve,plexus pterygoideus,ganglion pterygopalatinum and lymph vessels.


to


all the constants that we need to be figured out whenever you start planning something.


WOW,power-packed!!Again all glory to God!!


Gotta run(as in to leave this page),finals chasing after me =) 
Looking forward to ITALY!!Woohoo,decision made =)

Mixed Feelings

"Wake up!! We are going to have Макзавтрак for breakfast!!"
"Faster!! If not we won't be able to make it on time!!"


He was having Двойной с яйцом и свиной котлетой with Хашбраун and Кофе Глясе.


At around 11,he received a call,sudden change of plans, "We are planning to celebrate Weng Kee's birthday at 11.30 because we don't want Ivanna to miss this,what do you think?"


"Sure,I'm fine with it,but I suggest we have it at 12,"he said,everyone agreed.


12.10pm


"Happy Birthday to you,Happy Birthday to you..."(it goes on from the corridor into the room)
Thanks to Joanna and friends,they baked a wunderful cake.
Snapped some photos,the cab is here,time to help her load,quick.
He and Weng Kee carried a total of around 45kg of stuffs out into the cold
(-6°C) with just short sleeves shirt and pants on =P
catch us up in Domodedovo Moscow Airport asap.


In half an hour time,he & Weng Kee were already on their way,taking the metro.


3.00pm


"где автобус, чтобы добраться до Domodedovo?"
"памываимшфршгмртофывтмшгрш."
"спасибо." understood,thanked that guy who helped out.




 5.30pm


"Goodbye Ivanna,take care."
"Goodbye Ivanna,aww...I am going to miss you."
"Goodbye Ivanna..." (the list goes on)


Yes, he felt sad,
in the bus on the way to the metro station,
flashbacks were the only stuffs in his mind.

"Happy Birth---."
oops,Weng Kee was talking to Ai Ying on the phone =P
After around 5 minutes,the presents were presented.
Happy moments!!
He is finally turning 20!!


Happy Birthday Weng Kee,may God be with you today and always,have a blast!! =)


Mixed Feelings


as you can see,sad and happy moments,depressing and joy, plus, in fact he is going to have biochemistry exams in 6 hours time, indefinable unspeakable mixed feelings are the main themes for him these few days.

Feeling blessed

For the past week,I'm feeling so worn out, I felt that there isn't any bit of energy left,especially...
I'm emotionally exhausted.


I felt stressful in my studies;
I felt unhappy and am annoyed with the fact that Ivanna is leaving;
I felt the excitement in ministry wasn't that strong anymore;
I felt that I could never continue anymore.


On Sunday 29112009


Church was so saturated with the presence of the Holy Spirit,
The message from God was so so so POWERFUL and He is just so so so REAL
I felt awesome!!


Today, Monday 30112009


God spoke to me in the way He used to,


Weariness


'Come to Me, all you who labor and are
 heavy laden,and I will give you rest.'
            Matthew 11:28


I shall not practice my religion,instead I should enjoy a relationship with Him,
a walk with Him,will not make us weary,it will invigorate us,restore our strength,energize our life!!


Now,I feel great!!
Thanks to the special people around me that really helped me went through this period of time *winks

London or Rome??

Time to make a decision.
I'm blessed enough to have places to choose for my winter holidays,yet I'm troubled with these two very interesting locations.Here are a few pros and cons for both places,Oh Lord,please help me to choose.


London,
Pros: Having a few of my friends over there to share the joy. 
          'The more the merrier'
          Cheaper flight tickets (at least found a cheaper one) 


Cons: Planning to wait for 2012 OLYMPICS!!
            Too little time for such a wonderful place 
            (not to say that Rome isn't a wonderful place but personally prefer UK)




Rome,
Pros: Mentally prepared to visit during 09' winter holidays.
          Impressed by the city from my daddy's experience over there.


Cons: Expansive $$$ flight tickets =( 
           (couldn't find cheaper ones)
           Sigh...it's a wonderful place too,too little time,too bad =(


So...London or Rome??
